This role is ideally suited to someone with a passion for application dashboards & user interfaces and for someone that strives for pixel perfection across modern web browsers running on desktop and mobile devices. Our view is that less is more, and the challenge is to present a lot of data in an easy to understand way, that makes it quick and simple to process and take action against.  As we unify all our cloud products into one dashboard, the candidate must have knowledge of developing and using API’s (e.g. PHP, Ruby, JSON) and presenting that data to the user in a visually appealing way (using frameworks such as Sencha ExtJS, D3.js, JQuery and charting libraries). The role is varied, covering all aspects from user authentication, backend integration, visual look and feel, widgets, charting and data visualisation.

The role expects the candidate to have demonstrable experience developing application dashboards and experience managing junior developers as well. Initially, the role will be split between assisting with the completion of a SaaS dashboard that is already in progress and also creating a new user interface for our Enterprise web security product, which will be a distributed product designed to scale for use in the largest of organisations. There is an overriding requirement to take ownership of the user interface across all our products to ensure consistency. Knowledge and experience of mobile, tablet and responsive design and the ability to influence this in the user interface is essential as we strive to make the products as easy as possible for our customers to use.
