Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and working alongside our Marketing team, you’ll oversee the production and management of current and new properties, pages and concepts for our online presence.



You will also be responsible for general site maintenance and updates, including creation and improvement of the layout, text, video, audio, images and other assets within our website, blog and other channels. You will use analytics to understand and drive continual improvements, including optimal user experience throughout all properties.



Strong technical knowledge is a must and design flare is important to be effective in this role.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage the backlog and workflow for incoming change requests, working with stakeholders to understand requirements/priorities

  • Manage reporting and analytics tools across multiple web properties and provide perspective on what’s working/what’s not, along with action plan for improvement

  • Conduct frequent A/B testing to optimize user journey and conversions

REQUIREMENTS



  • 5+ years experience in Web Production or Web Development, with progressive responsibility

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage a high volume of work and multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

  • Effective at managing through shifting priorities and making judgment calls quickly to ensure deadlines are met

  • Attention to detail and ensure strong quality assurance process

  • Familiar and comfortable with current web technologies while maintaining W3C standards

  • Strong working knowledge of SEO best practices

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


The Applications Programmer Analyst III participates in all functions of technology applications development life cycles utilizing TNC’s basic project management disciplines.  Activities of this position include, but are not limited to:



  • Analyze and document end-user and technology-user business requirements for technology projects with medium degree of complexity at varying levels of impact on organization-wide initiatives.

  • Design and develop new technology systems and solutions according to system requirements following TNC methodology and development best practices.

  • Act as lead technologist on technology application maintenance projects related to application upgrades, conversions, and modifications. Perform tasks assigned as required to complete project including design, development, running specific programs, generating reports, and analyzing results.

  • Provide support for production problems as assigned.

  • Act as quality assurance analyst to conduct peer reviews and validate programmer analyst work done for moderately complex systems before their release to production in all phases of the project life cycle.

  • Acts as Project or Technical Lead as assigned.  Develop accurate project plans with realistic estimations and provide technical expertise to team members and users to help resolve complex project-related problems.

  • Assist technical support staff, Business Support Center staff, Project Managers, and users as needed by providing support for business applications including diagnosing problems requiring analysis and troubleshooting.  Design and implement solutions for corrective action in consultation with user community and TIS support group.

  • Assist with data standards compliance and best practices to facilitate integration between systems within TIS and its external partners.

  • Assists lead of a Center of Excellence to acquire, maintain, expand, and convey knowledge of relevant technologies and businesses supported and serve as a mentor to other team members.   Attend and possibly conduct training classes to maintain knowledge base of current technology.  Review technical publications on pertinent topics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 3 years of progressive experience in Information Technology field including at least 2 years of recent relevant experience with full life-cycle technology application development.

  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC and in at least one of the following disciplines: web applications programming, geographical information or spatial information systems, data modeling, SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle, SQL server, Microsoft Access, Visual Studio 2007 or higher, C#, JavaScript, jquery.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Strategy and Planning:



  • Participate in the planning and design of enterprise security architecture.

  • Participate in the creation of enterprise security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures).

* Acquisition and Deployment:

  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
