You will independently develop entry and advanced level learning materials for both internal and external audiences for online, virtual, and classroom delivery. Youll act as an integral part of our education team in determining and delivering needs of the training audiences and appropriate methods of self-paced, direct, and virtual delivery.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience in the following:
    • Unix/Linux and/or Windows SysAdmin or DevOps background, including automation.
    • Experience using the command line interface with Linux/Unix operating systems.
    • Client-server application development or systems architecture design.
  • Must think critically, be outcome oriented, and constantly strive to improve how the team reliably delivers high-quality training content.
  • Experience in technical writing, technical training or instructional design.
  • A strong stage-presence with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, and customers.
  • Recent coding experience in at least one procedural or object-oriented programming language, and a scripting language
  • Proficiency in version control systems (we love git).
  • Ability to explain concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to travel ~50%.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you are responsible for providing technical solutions and managing the technical relationship with Blippar's largest and most strategic clients, brands such as Pepsi, Nestle, Conde Nast, P&G and Jaguar.


As a liaison between clients and our technical team, you flawlessly lead deployments, implementations and integrations of our product with our client’s own systems. From assessing feasibility, writing down functional requirements, monitoring product performance to writing prototypes or even first versions, debugging and troubleshooting product code, you are the resident expert that addresses client needs.

Responsibilities


Blippar’s technology is enabling our clients to engage more deeply with their customers, allowing them to turn the physical product into a platform for continuous engagement. This requires a tight integration between the actual AR experience (what the end-user sees when blipping the product) and the client's engagement platforms, such as e-commerce, coupons, social media and CRM channels.


As a Technical Solutions Consultant you are responsible for driving technical and business innovations and making our clients successful and



  • you’ll collaborate with teams throughout Blippar to develop specific solutions for strategic clients around the globe;

  • work with clients to define specifications, optimise implementations and integrations to drive new business opportunities;

  • manage the overall technical aspects to build strong, successful, long-term partnerships;.
